Terms of Service
These Terms of Service outline important policies to ensure a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all clients.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy and trust are deeply valued. Any personal or health information shared—whether through intake forms, email, or conversation—is kept strictly confidential. I will never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. All health information is used solely to provide safe and effective massage therapy services. If you ever have questions about how your information is handled, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the session rate. No-shows will be charged the full session amount. This policy helps protect the time and energy I devote to preparing for each session and ensures availability for others.
Scope of Practice & Professional Boundaries
Massage therapy provided at Muse Holistic Bodywork is strictly therapeutic and professional. Any inappropriate behavior, language, or innuendo will result in the immediate termination of the session, and you will be charged the full session rate. Future appointments may also be refused. Please understand that I am here to provide therapeutic bodywork—not medical diagnosis or treatment beyond my scope of practice.
Informed Consent
Massage therapy is most effective when we work together. You have the right to ask questions, express preferences, or stop the session at any time. I will always check in about pressure, comfort, and boundaries throughout our time together. Your informed, enthusiastic consent is essential before and during every session.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at my discretion for any reason, including but not limited to:
Inappropriate behavior
Signs of intoxication
Health concerns that make massage unsafe
My goal is to hold space for you with care, compassion, and professionalism—and I ask the same in return.
