Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I prepare for my massage?
To get the most out of your session, try to arrive well-hydrated and freshly showered. Drinking plenty of water before your massage helps your muscles respond more effectively and supports your body’s natural detox process.
It’s also best to avoid heavy meals right before your appointment—a full stomach can make it uncomfortable when face down.
Wear comfortable clothing, and aim to arrive a few minutes early to settle in and take a few deep breaths before we begin.

Where is your studio located?
I’m currently working from my in-home studio on 43rd Ave and Baseline Rd. My exact address is provided via email after booking your appointment.
-
Are there any pets or smoking at your in-home studio?
There has never been any smoking of any kind inside my home, nor do I smoke.
We do have one pup that lives here. She’s a 37 pound, hypoallergenic Aussie Doodle. It doesn’t happen often, but she may bark at UPS during our session. There will be music playing in the room to dampen any outside noise, but I appreciate your patience as we continue to work with her on her inside voice!
If you have any concerns with pets, please let me know - I will do my best to make any accommodations.
-
Do I have to completely undress?
Not at all! Your comfort always comes first. You’re welcome to undress to whatever level feels right for you—some clients choose to fully undress, while others prefer to leave undergarments on. You’ll always be properly draped, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered.
In some cases, keeping certain garments on can limit access to the full length of a muscle, which may restrict my ability to address an area as thoroughly. We’ll talk through your preferences before we begin to ensure you feel completely comfortable and supported.
-
What if the pressure isn't right?
I wholeheartedly believe that you know what’s best for your body. If the pressure I’m using doesn’t feel quite right—whether it’s too much or not enough—please let me know as soon as you can.
Ego is checked at the door. My priority is creating a safe, supportive, and effective experience for you. I’ll also share anything I notice in your body along the way, so we can work together to make the session as beneficial as possible.
