Hi, I’m Javonna!

It’s my honor to offer heart-led treatments that blend a variety of techniques rooted in holistic wellness.

I started my massage journey in January 2016 at the Arizona School of Massage Therapy, receiving my license the following year. I worked at a couple of spas before realizing my heart thrived at a slower pace that allowed me to fully connect and be present with each client.

Since receiving my license, I’ve completed continuing education courses at SWIHA for prenatal and Swedish Sedona modalities. I’ve also taken focus courses for PTSD and deep hip rotator work with Jimmy Gialelis at Advanced Massage Arts & Education in Tempe.

By listening to your needs with compassion and kindness, I enjoy crafting an experience just for you. My goal is to help you manage the challenges of everyday life and provide you with a safe space to process and recover. Through each treatment, I hope to leave you feeling inspired, whole and truly cared for.

What to expect

Each session begins with a brief check in that allows me to meet you where you’re at and ensure that our session goes safely. This gives me insight to how you’re feeling and any areas I should focus on or avoid altogether.

After you get settled on the table, I introduce my touch with gentle, but firm compressions, giving me additional insight to areas holding more or less tension.

I pay close attention to body cues throughout the session to ensure your comfort and will also periodically check in with you, adjusting pressure as needed for an effective and enjoyable treatment.

My bodywork often blends Swedish and structural modalities for pain-relief in a relaxing manner. I enjoy educating during my sessions to give you awareness and a better understanding of my thought process. Deep muscle layers are accessed when possible, with broader tools to avoid sharp discomfort and reduce potential bruising or soreness. No massage should cause harm or unpleasant discomfort.

Our session comes to close with another round of gentle compressions for grounding before resuming your daily activities.
